NEON Airborne flights over the SRER between 18-31 August 2026!

The National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) Airborne Observatory Platform (AOP) will be performing flights over the Santa Rita sometime between 18-31 August 2026. The schedule will depend on weather and missions to the Jornada Experimental Range during that time.
We had flights in 2024, 2025, and 2026 (this year), and they will be repeated in 2027 and 2028.
Make plans to prepare field conditions and collect simultaneous ground or UAS data to coordinate with the NEON AOP data!
